Is Your Natural Living Anxiety-filled or Grace-driven TOP PICTURE

Many of us pursue healthfulness in our homes. For me, that includes considering a “more-natural, less-processed” way of living.

But there is a difference between those who choose this healthy, natural living in freedom, and those who choose it out of fear.

One approach is relaxed and life-giving. The other is stressful and burdening.

Today I’m posting at The Humbled Homemaker with more thoughts on this topic.

Yes, well stated Katie 🙂 Agreed, we can either make those choices with wisdom and information we have (and live gracefully) or live in FEAR and make those choices and lifestyles Idols. Fear/idolatry is from the enemy (sin), understanding and wisdom comes from The Lord. I will say I had a moment of fear awhile back as one of our children has a deadly nut allergy. We always carry a epi pen, read labels and check ingredients, but what if something happens….The Lord quickly reminded me that He is in control of this child’s life, and their protector. I need to be wise, and not let fear control my thoughts/emotions!

P.S. I’m with you on the no news watching….very seldom do I watch it….not even for the weather! It’s usually so depressing anyway and doesn’t add value to my life LOL.

I’m glad to hear that about news watching. I know some people have the opposite opinion, that it’s irresponsible not to watch, but I’ve found my life is just better without it.

I figure there is enough sadness and struggle in the lives right around me, and these are the people God has actually PUT in my life, where I am positioned to actually DO something.

I would definitely struggle with a child having that serious of an allergy. That is something I have feared even when it hasn’t been a reality for us. It’s cool that you’re using that to trust God’s control. Amazing and inspiring.
