90 Date Night Questions for Christian Married Couples: Liven Things Up

|by | Popular Posts, Simple Homemaking

After years of marriage, you and your spouse know each other so well that it’s easy to get comfortable and forget there is still so much more to learn about one another.

It can become difficult to continue improving and deepening your relationship.

The mundane, “how was your day?”  is important, but it does not tell the full story. Nor does it necessarily meet the need for deeper communication.

Throughout our relationship my husband has made a point to ask fun, creative, and deep questions to get us talking. It means a lot to me and definitely adds quality to our time together.

Even if you’ve known each other a long time, even if you assume you know the answer, ask anyway. It’s good to hear what you already knew in your spouse’s words, and you may just be surprised.

Hey, thanks for the excellent questions! It’s good to look at questions that are a bit more meaningful for a relationship every once in a while instead of just the typical day to day ones. Very helpful, thank you!

Parts of this are ridiculously sexist, out-dated and downright offensive. Separate questions for men regarding when they should have led more, and one for a woman asking when she was too “competitive” instead of “helpful”? This isn’t the 1800s anymore. Can’t believe a woman wrote this.

Hi! I am part of a group preparing a marriage retreat to renew or vows and refresh our marriage. I am looking for fun questions and activities for the couples. Could I use your questions?
    Thank you.

Just seeing this. You should have received it by now if you put in your email. Did you get it in time? If there was any problem let me know and I’ll email you directly.

Fabulous timing! We are going on our first date in about three month (gotta breastfeeding baby, no family in the area. Makes it tough). The times we get away, we tend to talk about work (same company) or the kids and I’d love for us to talk about “real” things. I’m so going to pull this out!

I’m so glad to hear it! I know what you mean about tending to talk about work/kids on dates. That’s exactly why we started coming up with these questions. I hope your date went well!!
